Description: Here is a 1955 Ford Customline Police Car which was built in Memphis Tennessee in mid 1955. This Customline is equipped with the Ford Y Block which is a 272ci V8 engine producing 162 horsepower backed up by a 3 speed automatic transmission. It also has been equipped with an electric fan to make cruising or even the pace of a parade no problem for this car. This Police car has been fitted with a dual flowmaster exhaust system which makes it sound very intimidating going down the road. The Customline does have the 11” drum brakes which were new in 55. The odometer shows 86137 miles which are believed to be correct. The interior looks new including the headliner, seats and carpeting. This Police car has the period correct lights and sirens that are all in working order including the main tornado style horn on the roof as well as a controller to change the sirens under the hood to different sounds. It also has the microphone attachment so you can speak into it and give commands through the front sirens. There is also a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3 below the dash to listen to any style of music while you cruise. This car is great condition, starts right up and drives smoothly every time.
