Description: You are looking at a 1941 Ford Custom convertible built by Gene Winfield who originally built the car for no other than Hall of famer Jerry West of the Los Angeles Lakers. The rare 1941 Ford sedan was reborn as a touring car in the style of the traditional 1950s lead sleds. Gene Winfield hand built this vehicle and properly names it “SO RARE”. Under the hood you will find a Chevrolet 350 V8 with engine cover to match exterior and is meshed to a TH350 automatic transmission. Other features under the hood include power steering and brakes. The interior comes with custom low-back style Beige leather bucket seats with matching door panels. The custom leather wrapped dash has a polished aluminum trim piece over laid on top with a plate scribed “Built for Jerry West” on it. It also features a custom gauge cluster by Classic Instruments which fits the build quite nicely. Other interior features include tilt steering column, a center console that hides the power switches to the air suspension, windows, and trunk popper. The stunning custom exterior comes in Jet Black paint. Everything that could possibly be shaven off has been. It is so sleek and stylish that is hard not to stare at it. The more you stare at it, the more you realize how much work has been put into making it look this good. It has overlay rear skirts, frenched headlights, frenched power antenna, nosed frontend, decked rear end, and has a White custom leather wrapped carson top. Underneath all that beautiful body work lays a 1956 Chevrolet frame with airbag suspension and uses Black steel wheels with ripple hubcaps that are wrapped in white wall tires to roll around and is stopped by power disc brakes up front and drums in the rear.
