Description: You are looking at a 1957 Volkswagen Beetle. This oval window runs and drives but should be considered a “restoration project” that needs work. Under the original “W” deck lid you will find a stock 1200cc engine with a single carburetor that is connected to a 4 speed manual transmission. Other features under the deck lid include its original “pea shooter” style exhaust. The interior is original and needs to be redone. It does have its 2 low-back style seats upfront that are torn badly and are covered by black seats covers and the rear bench seat is in decent condition with only the upper seam coming undone. The dash is complete and comes how it came from the factory. Other interior features include a factory steering wheel, and factory shifter. The exterior paint comes in a factory “Coral Red”. It has is complete set of badges and moldings which some are slightly damaged. There is some significant amount of rust damage on this Bug starting with small holes in the floor, rear fenders, and lower rear tire wells. This beetle also has a roof rack , rear vent mounted ski rack, original deck lid which is in great shape, rear “honey comb” tail light, and original “rocket” style front turning signals. This Bug sits on its original steel wheels that are stopped by drum brakes all the way around. Be the one to bring this rare “peoples car” back to life that it deserves.
