Description: Here is a prime example of a 1953 Kaiser-Frazer Henry-J Corsair Deluxe built in the Willow-Run, Michigan assembly plant in early 53. This vehicle was the 1,104th car off the assembly line when only 8,175 were actually built. This Henry-J sports a 161ci L-Head 6 cylinder motor with a single barrel carb, power steering, 4 blade fan and 3 speed manual transmission on the column. The L-Head 6 cylinder engine pushed out 80 horsepower which was produced by Willys Overland. It has the correct Kaiser hub caps and emblems on the vehicle. The odometer shows 67,100 miles, which is believed to be correct when the full restoration was completed in 2008. The two-tone dark brown and beige interior has been restored and seat belts have been added. This car sold new for $1,686.18 in 1953 which compares to today's mid-size sedans.
