Description: A T-bucket (or Bucket T) is a hot rod, based on a Ford Model T of the 1915 to 1927 era, but extensively modified. T-buckets were favorites for greasers and hot rodders alike. This specific T-bucket is a 1923 Ford Model T that was locally built and completed about 5 years ago. Finished in a straight and smooth, show quality candy apple red paint job with powder coated matching chassis, this T-bucket is a truly unique and award winning custom. The T is powered by a high nickel content 350ci V8 small block Chevrolet engine equipped with a 671 style blower manufactured by The Blower Shop as well as two Holley 4 barrel double pumper carburetors. With all of the engine's internals being upgraded and machined, the blown small block is capable of around 500 horsepower on regular pump gas. Other features of the engine are camel hump cylinder heads, Vertex magneto style electronic distributor, chrome Edelbrock water pump, long tube roadster style headers, steel braided fuel lines, brass radiator with custom electric fan and a chrome alternator. All of the power of the engine is transferred through a chromed turbo-hydro 400 automatic 3 speed transmission hooked up to a chrome ford 9 inch rear axle with a drivable and yet fun 3:73 differential ratio. The T-buckets interior is finished off in gray vinyl with tweed inserts. The interior features a B&M shifter, chrome tilt steering column, billet foot pedals as well as a Sony 6 CD changer hooked up to a Sony Xplode AM/FM/CD radio with Polk audio speakers. The custom dashboard has antique style Autometer gauges which show water temperature, oil pressure, speedometer, fuel level as well as voltage level. There is also an Autometer tachometer fastened to the firewall and can be seen through the windshield. All of the wiring is run through the chassis giving the T a clean and tidy look but features a key fob battery kill switch anti-theft device. Under the rear gray vinyl and tweed inlay bed cover you will find a fuel cell and battery box. The Ford hugs the road with custom chrome coil over suspension in the rear as well as a leaf spring, tube style front axle and 16 inch spoked chrome wheels up front with 31/18.50/R15 Mickey Thompson street treaded tires out back. The T-bucket stops quickly and safely by 4 wheel power Airhart hydraulic disc brakes. Take this T to your local cruise or just enjoy driving a lightweight powerful hot rod that stands alone and can take home a trophy today!
