Description: You are looking at a third generation 1948 Cadillac Series 62 four door sedan that was designed by Harley Earl which also designed other iconic Cadillacs from 1940-1958. This Cadillac gets its power from a 331 cubic inch Flathead V8 engine that has a two barrel carburetor and is connected to Four speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. This nostalgic yet elegant interior takes you back to a time when things were less complicated. It features front and rear two-tone Gray with dark Gray fabric bench seats with the rear bench seat having arm rest. The head liner comes in a static Gray and the carpet is light Gray. The dashboard is clean and simple with a large single gauge cluster that indicates speed, oil pressure, temperature, amperage, and fuel. The dash also has its original AM radio and clock. Other interior features are hydraulic power windows, and its original steering wheel. This particular car comes in a glossy black paint and the distinguishing exterior features include grooved bright metal front gravel guards and Chevron style chrome slashes below tail lights. 1948 was also the first year to use a tail fin rear end. Other exterior features include a hide away gas cap underneath the left tail light that opens with a push button, fender skirts, 3 piece rear window, and front and rear bumper guards. The series 62 sits on its original 15-inch steel wheels and hubcaps that are wrapped in Broadway Grand Prix white wall tires that are stopped by drum brakes all the way around. Take this iconic classic Cadillac and first of the finned cars to any cruise or event with pride!
