Description: This is a restored 1947 Lincoln Zephyr. As postwar production resumed in America, the Ford Motor Company offered the Lincoln Zephyr series of automobiles as its absolute top of the line models which were totally unique from any other Ford of this era. These vehicles were powered by Lincoln's exclusive 267ci V12 engine that was connected to a 3 speed column shifted manual transmission. The Lincolns were specifically built to compete head on with the coupes, sedans and high end convertible models from Cadillac and Packard. Other features under the hood are a new radiator, new hoses, all new wiring harness, and new 6V battery. The exquisite interior is very spacious and is in great condition. The symmetrical dashboard face showcases nostalgic styling with its big and classy gauges and big radio grille. The spacious front and rear bench seats come in a Tan Bedford cloth. The side panels come in a Champagne Pink and feature a cigarette lighter on left and right side of the rear seat. There is also emulated wood grain molding through the interior along with the push button door releases. The exterior of this vehicle is shown in a elegant Pace Car Yellow with all of the chrome bumpers and trim in great condition overall. This car sits on its original 15-inch steel wheels with original dog dish hub caps and beauty rings which are wrapped in wide white wall tires. Add this post war vehicle to your collection or simply enjoy being chauffeured in a luxurious and spacious American classic.
