These terms apply to purchases made directly through Back In The Day Classics, including website and phone orders. Please review them along with our Shipping Policy, Refund & Return Policy, and Privacy Policy before purchasing.

ITEM CONDITION & DESCRIPTIONS

All items are sold AS IS, subject to the descriptions provided and applicable law.

We specialize in antiques, vintage items, and collectibles. Items may show wear, repairs, restoration, replacement parts, or other signs of age. Please review each listing’s description and photos carefully.

Statements about age, origin, originality, or restoration reflect the information available to us. Any uncertainty identified in a listing should be considered before purchasing.

If you need additional information, measurements, photos, videos, or clarification, please contact us before completing your purchase. Colors may appear differently depending on your screen.

WORKING CONDITION & VINTAGE EQUIPMENT

An item’s operating condition will be described in its listing. Please do not assume an item is fully functional unless expressly stated.

A demonstration of an item operating shows its condition at the time of testing and does not promise continued operation without maintenance or repair.

Vintage electrical and mechanical items may require professional inspection, servicing, or updates before use. Follow appropriate safety precautions and consult a qualified technician when needed.

PRICES & PAYMENT

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes, shipping, packing, crating, and other agreed charges may be added to the purchase price.

Payment must be received before an item is shipped or released for pickup, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

For items requiring freight shipping or special handling, please contact us for a quote before purchasing.

AVAILABILITY & ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Many of our items are one of a kind. Availability may change, and an item may sell before its online listing is updated.

An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order. If an item is unavailable or an order contains a pricing or listing error, we will contact you before proceeding. If we cannot fulfill the order, we will refund any payment collected for the canceled item and associated unfulfilled services.

We will not charge an increased price without your agreement.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping arrangements, handling times, packing, insurance availability, and freight requirements are described in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Carrier delays may occur.

Buyers must provide an accurate delivery address and disclose any access restrictions or special delivery requirements before transportation is arranged.

For neon signs and other fragile items, please discuss shipping options and coverage limitations with us before purchasing.

Please contact us after purchasing to arrange a confirmed pickup time.

If someone else will collect your purchase, please notify us in advance. Bring appropriate transportation and let us know if loading assistance will be needed.

RETURNS & ORDER CONCERNS

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Refund & Return Policy.

If you believe an item was significantly misrepresented, email brianna@backinthedayclassics.com within 72 hours of delivery with your order information, details, and supporting photos or videos.

All returns require written approval before shipping.

If an item arrives damaged, retain the item and all packaging and contact us promptly so we can review the issue and assist with any available shipping claim.

PURCHASES THROUGH OTHER PLATFORMS

Purchases made through eBay or another marketplace are also subject to that platform’s terms, payment procedures, and buyer protections. These terms do not override protections provided by the platform.

Future auctions may have separate terms covering bidding, buyer’s premiums, payment deadlines, and collection requirements. Those terms will be provided for the applicable auction.

Our original website text, photographs, and other content may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Third-party trademarks and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these terms limits rights, remedies, or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
